The Blood Bank In PHP is a simple project developed using PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS. The project contains Receivers and Hospitals. A Hospital user can add blood sample to their blood bank and Receiver users can request for the blood sample. The users can go through the homepage. The user can register as a blood donor (hospital), request for blood need or search for blood through services page. This project makes a convenient way for the hospitals and the person who needs blood to communicate with each other.

About system

This Blood Bank is in PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS. Talking about the features of this system, it contains the hospital user and the blood receiver user. All the managing of donors, request of blood need, and editing places are from the hospital section. While the receivers can request for the required blood sample.

Here, the skills has been used like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript as a frontend, PHP as a backend and MySQL for the database. The design of this system is pretty simple so that the user won’t get any difficulties while working on it.

How To Run The Project?

To run this project, you must have installed a virtual server i.e XAMPP on your PC (for Windows). This Blood Bank is in PHP with source code is free to download, Use for educational purposes only!

After Starting Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the following steps.

1st Step: Extract file
2nd Step: Copy the main project folder
3rd Step: Paste in xampp/htdocs/

4th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”
5th Step: Then, click on the databases tab
6th Step: Create a database naming “bloodbank” and then click on the import tab
7th Step: Click on browse file and select “bloodbank.sql” file which is inside the “Database” folder
8th Step: Click on go.

After Creating Database,

9th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/bloodbank/”
